Parchayee is an interesting concept. It brings back the Saturday morning viewing content that Indian audiences have grown up on. It required a skilful director to make that content interesting to a new audience, and V K Prakash does that effortlessly. The story is a children’s tale, mixed with some fairy tale dust and supernatural aspects – V K Prakash regales us with the childhood tales of yore.
